Christian Women: Our Walk with Jesus & Redeeming Your Story

Every friendship has a beginning — but ours was more than coincidence. It was God’s divine orchestration. In this episode of Spirit Filled Girl Talk, we open our hearts, our walks with Jesus, and our stories: the messy, the meaningful, the painful, and the redemptive. We believe that authenticity breeds connection, and as we testify to God’s goodness in our lives, we invite you to pull up a seat at the table and discover the beauty of Spirit-filled sisterhood.

Sarah’s Walk with Jesus: From Broken Trust to Redeemed Faith

Sarah grew up in a Christian home with loving but very young parents. While she knew about God, she didn’t deeply know Him until much later. Like many of us, her faith walk had seasons of closeness and seasons of wandering.

In her 20s, Sarah’s relationships often left her wounded — patterns of dishonesty, betrayal, and heartache created deep mistrust. Meeting her husband, Adam, was a turning point, though she struggled at first to believe in real love after so much disappointment. Through vulnerability, persistence, and God’s grace, their love grew into a strong, Christ-centered marriage.

Her journey also included health battles and fertility struggles, seasons that forced her to stop striving in her own strength and surrender to God’s timing. Moving to Texas became another turning point — God surrounded her with Spirit-filled community, Scripture, and truth that transformed her understanding of Him.

Today, Sarah is hungry for God’s Word, rooted in His love, and passionate about encouraging women through authentic conversations that reflect His heart.

Satin’s Walk with Jesus: From Shame to Freedom in Christ

Satin is the youngest of seven children and grew up in a Christian home with parents who taught her to love God’s Word. She was filled with the Holy Spirit at just four years old. But her childhood was marked by broken family dynamics, her father’s alcoholism, and deep longing for sisterhood.

Though she never lost her faith in God, Satin’s journey took her through painful detours: early marriages, abuse, divorce, rebellion, and seasons of shame. These experiences left her questioning her worth and disqualifying herself from ministry.

But God was not finished with her story. Through His relentless love, a faithful husband, and Spirit-filled community, Satin has experienced profound healing and deliverance. Today, she lives in freedom — passionate about encouraging other women to lay down shame, embrace God’s forgiveness, and walk boldly in His calling.

A Spirit-Filled Friendship

Our friendship is more than just companionship — it’s a divine sisterhood. We challenge, encourage, and sharpen one another in our faith. We’ve cried, prayed, confessed, and celebrated side by side.

We’ve discovered that real friendship isn’t just about being present in each other’s lives — it’s about pointing one another back to Jesus again and again.

This is why Spirit Filled Girl Talk exists: to create a safe space for women to have real, raw conversations, to remind each other that we’re not alone, and to redefine sisterhood through the lens of Christ.

Reflection Questions

  1. Where do you see God’s hand in your own story — even in the painful places?
  2. How has shame or fear kept you from walking in freedom?
  3. What role has friendship played in your spiritual growth?
  4. Who is one woman in your life you can encourage today with your testimony?

Friend, no matter your past, you are not disqualified. You are loved, forgiven, and called. And you never have to walk alone.
